Anita is a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern a birth, postpartum and bereavement Doula. She has dedicated the last 7 years to the field of mental health. Anita enjoys working with birthing individuals as they transition to their new normal. As a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern, her clientele varies from birthing individuals who have experienced an infant loss, birth trauma, birthing individuals who are experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and individuals who have experienced trauma.

Anita’s efforts are to aide birthing individuals to embrace their, new normal while still having a connection to who they are. She utilizes modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Gestalt Therapy.
